Ask us to delete your data
In the app (easiest). Open Settings, go to Privacy and tap “Delete analytics data”. Your email app opens with a message to [email protected] and your anonymous install ID already written in. Send it.
By email. Write to [email protected] and include your install ID (see below). The subject line “Delete my analytics data” helps us find it.
What we delete
- Diagnostics. Crash reports, performance measurements and screen recordings that Luciq, our reporting service, holds for your install ID, if you agreed to them in the app.
- Emails. If you want us to delete an email you sent us, say so and tell us which address you used.
You can also stop new collection at any time in Settings, under Privacy. That does not delete what was already collected, which is what this page is for.
Finding your install ID
Your install ID is a random code the app creates on your phone. It is not made from your name, email address or phone details. You can see it in Settings, under Privacy, as “Your anonymous ID”, and you can touch and hold it to copy it.
If you have already uninstalled Sarmad or cleared its data, the app no longer has the ID and neither do we, so we cannot tell which diagnostics were yours. Diagnostics are anonymous and are not linked to any other detail about you. If you still want to try, tell us the rough dates you used the app and your Android device model, and we will do what we can.
What happens next
We confirm the request by email, delete the matching diagnostics and reply when it is done, within 30 days. We use your email address only to answer you, and we delete it with the rest of the request after 24 months, as described in the privacy policy.
Data we do not hold
Your settings, saved mixes and trial details stay on your phone and we cannot see them. Uninstalling Sarmad, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes them. Payment records are held by Google Play under its own policies. To manage those, use your Google account.
More detail on what the app collects, and the choices you have, is in the privacy policy.
